Latrice Bruno is a Florida native and a graduate of New World School of the Arts specializing in musical theatre. In addition to her theatre, dance, and vocal training at New World, Latrice has trained in and around the Miami area since the age of 7 as well as in New York, Chicago, and Washington D.C. Latrice started her theatre training at Norland Middle School and, after a short time as a theatre major at Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL, Latrice received an English degree at Florida International University and a certificate in African New World Studies. She is a member of Delou, a locally based African dance and culture ensemble and a key actress for the M-Ensemble inNorth Miami. She has toured internationally as a dancer and appeared several times on MTV. In 2010, Latrice joined A4L’s team of Wolf Trap trained early childhood artists. In the spring of 2012, Latrice was invited to represent A4L/Miami’s artists at the annual national Young Audiences conference, joining 51 of her peers from across the country to learn and exhchange best practices. Her passionate devotion to sharing her love of the arts with children has led her to pursue the life of a teaching artist for the past ten years.
